BINTULU (Feb 10): Two women and a young girl suffered injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed along Jalan Tatau-Bintulu on Tuesday.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said those involved in the single-vehicle crash were the 41-year-old driver and her passengers aged eight and 69.

“The driver was still seated in the vehicle and unable to exit due to feeling weak. She was assisted out the vehicle by Tatau fire station personnel and handed over to medical personnel,” said the department.

It added that the two passengers had been sent by the public to the Tatau Health Clinic prior to the arrival of rescuers.

Bomba described the injuries sustained by the three victims as minor.
