A total of 56 children at the Miri Hospital paediatric ward received goodies from Grand Palace Hotel here on Wednesday.

Hotel general manager Helen Choo stated that this visit was part of the hotel’s annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, coinciding with the upcoming Christmas festive season.

Spreading Joy

“We hope this small gesture will bring cheer to the children at the ward,” she expressed.

The goodies were distributed during a visit by the hotel’s management team, warmly welcomed by Miri Hospital matron Hartini Sinow.

Following the gift distribution, the team also entertained the children with Christmas carols.

Extending the Celebration

In addition to Miri Hospital, the Grand Palace Hotel team also visited Borneo Medical Centre (BMC), where they distributed gifts to paediatric patients and performed Christmas carols to spread festive cheer.

The initiative reflects the hotel’s commitment to community engagement and bringing joy during the holiday season.
