As of 4 pm today, the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) has reported a significant decrease in the number of victims, now totaling 29 individuals from 17 families, a notable reduction from 127 individuals from 60 families the previous day.
MIRI: The situation regarding flood and landslide victims in Sarawak is showing improvement, with just two temporary relief centres (PPS) operational in Miri.
Current Victim Statistics
The PPS at SK Suai Niah has seen a decrease in flood victims, now housing 21 individuals from 14 families, down from 119 individuals from 57 families earlier.
Additionally, the PPS located at the Malaysian Red Crescent hall currently accommodates four flood victims from two families, along with four members of another family affected by a landslide.
