A kids’ colouring contest themed ‘Say No to Bullying’ will take place at CityONE Megamall on December 28. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the significance of kindness and empathy in children.
Jointly organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch and Kawasan Simpang Tiga Kenyalang Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK), with CityONE Megamall generously sponsoring the venue, the event is set to commence at 10.30 am.
Event Details
“This meaningful event seeks to enlighten children on the importance of kindness, empathy, and standing against bullying. It also provides a fun and creative platform for participants to express themselves through art,” stated MRC Stampin in a recent announcement.
The competition is categorised into three age groups: Category A for children aged seven to eight, Category B for those aged nine to ten, and Category C for children aged eleven to twelve.
Every participant will receive a certificate of participation, and attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Participation Information
“Children will have the chance to showcase their artistic skills while learning essential lessons about respect and inclusion through this creative activity. Additionally, a health screening program will be conducted by the National Cancer Society Malaysia for the public during the event,” added the branch.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own small tables and chairs for colouring, along with their colouring pencils or crayons.
No registration fee is required, but interested individuals must register by December 20 via WhatsApp to Wendy at 019-8182244.
“This competition transcends mere colouring—it’s about empowering children to use their creativity to convey that bullying has no place in our community,” the branch further emphasized.
